Beware the new Schooner Gold Varnish.
It is very thick and even after thinning is still very difficult to apply.
It drags so that areas can be missed and is impossible to "tip"
It is nothing like the previous Schooner Y 96.
Why do they do this!

| This product received unfavorable reviews at Jamestown Distributors with many users having the same complaint. I would suggest using Epifanes Gloss which has been around for years and is also a high solids varnish. It is made in Holland and the best pricing is usually at Defender Industries. The 1000 ml container is slightly larger than a quart. I have used Epifanes for 40 years and really like it. |
