Laguna 10 Metre
The Laguna 10 Metre offered exciting performance perfectly matched to her distinctive styling. She was pure artistry in fiberglass, combinging modern decorator fabrics with golden Burmese teak furniture, paneling, soles and joinerywork. The control console was complete with all instrumentation and controls, including the large compass, throttles, gear levers, trim tab controls and indicators. All engine instruments and the ship's electric circuitry controls were also included on the console, all in one central, easy to use arrangement. Steering and engine controls were duplicated on the flying bridge, along with engine instruments. The spacious deckhouse had the option to be opened to the aft cockpit by telescoping glass doors. There was a table and "L" shaped settee to port, and to starboard was an entertainment center with wet bar, ice maker, basin and lockers. With electric cooking utensils, the wet bar doubled as an additional galley for quick snacks and buffet entertaining. Forward of the deckhouse was the main saloon which provided the heart of the Laguna 10 Metre's accommodations. There were two beautifully upholstered "U" shaped settees to port and starboard providing spacious seating for at least eight adults, making an ideal entertaining, dining, conversation center. The galley featured a complete set of electric cooking utensils replacing the old galley range. The electric refrigerator was built-in and the basin was stainless steel. The Laguna 10 Metre was produced of fiberglass and was powered by twin turbocharged Ammarine AT-637 cu. in. V8 diesels. Her beautiful wide Y hull, exceptional 17,000 lb. displacement, ram rudders and built-in adjustable trim tabs provided unmatched performance on the open seas. The Laguna 10 Metre exceeded the most stringent requirements. She featured a rare quality--craftsmanship in fibreglass. It all combined to create an exciting, stylish, top-performing diesel sports cruiser. |
